Children face many challenges today. Kid Reiki is amazing for stress reduction. It literally is giving them the power to help themselves especially those children who are sensitive to energy and the world around them. This calming practice of Reiki can benefit children by promoting relaxation and confidence. Learning Reiki could help children learn to self- regulate, to soothe, to relax and to care for their own physical and emotional well-being. We know that reducing stress allows the body more resilience and therefore promotes wellness. Children often have the ability to pick up the energy of their parents. If the parent is stressed, angry or having a hard day, children can absorb this energy. Each child will receive a Kid Reiki manual to take home and they will receive the second Kid Reiki placement and a symbol to use when doing reiki.
